Frankly speaking, white is not my favorite color but I do not dislike white in general. Ok, well, maybe it is a little confusing. I do like white but I do not have that many white dresses, shirts, t-shirts or other white fashion accessories in my wardrobe. My reason for not buying white fashion accessories is because my past experiences wearing white accessories have not been good. I am a little sloppy at times and I tend to dirty my white clothes easily.



But there are times when I just miss wearing white. One of those times when I would definitely put on white clothings and accessories is during my holiday. I love beaches and I would make sure that I head on the beach at least twice a year. Of all the beaches that I've been, Maldives has to be the destination you ought to visit at least once in your life. The next best beach is Bali. It is quite a distance though and getting there would take me at least one day of traveling. I love Bali, but it is not high on my list simply because of its distance.



Enough talking about beaches. What I want to share today is my encounter with the white G-Shock that I have. I typically wear fashion watches and such watches as G-Shock are usually out of my style. I received my white G-Shock as a gift from my fiance. I still remember it was just before one of our annual beach pilgrimage. It is still vivid on my mind how I scrimped when I first looked at the bulky watch. But since it was a gift, I still had to thank him for that. It was the G-Shock GA110SN-7A.



On second look, I realized that the white G-Shock watch is not bad after all. It is a little big and bulky for my small wrist. But it is one fine watch to begin with. The mix of white, blue and soft grey looks real cool. This is especially true when I put on this white G-Shock and stroll along the beach. It looks really pretty with my white dresses. And I absolutely love the picture of me wearing it.



Another great thing that I have to give it to my white G-Shock that my other fasion watches are not up to is its water resistance. I am one forgetful person and when I started to take a dip on the beach, I often forget to take my watch off my wrist. It happened to me few times before and all my fashion watches ended up dead. But this white G-Shock of mine is an exception and it is surviving well until today.

 



So, that is just one piece of my advice. Fashion watches are great but there are times when they will fail miserably. Open yourself to other watches and you would learn things you never thought possible.
